Heavenly Father, we thank you that by your Holy Spirit you inspired St. Paul with a love for Jesus and a zeal for mission. Grant that by the same Spirit you would inspire the people of St. Paul’s, Manningham, as they both give thanks for the past 150 years and look forward to the future.
We also give you thanks for the faithful witness of all your people who have served you in this parish but who are now worshipping on another shore. We pray that you would make us faithful servants in our time of the same Jesus Christ whom they served and in whose Holy name we pray.
