It is over 100 years since Harold Greenwood founded what is now Fletcher Greenwood & Co., Chartered Accountants, Bradford. The intervening years have seen many changes in both taxation and accountancy. Throughout this period we have provided both the business and private communities of Bradford and beyond with a high level of professional service.
On formation in 1907 the firm was located in Northgate. We subsequently moved to Town Hall Square, which interestingly had not been renamed on the change of city status, before the decision was made in 1928 to locate in Broad Street, just off Manor Row, in the heart of Bradford City centre.
From our town centre location we are conveniently situated for access to and from all areas of Bradford with car parking on Middle Street while both Bradford Foster Square Station and the Bradford tax office are on our doorstep making us particularly accessible.
We became Fletcher Greenwood & Co. in 1963 to reflect the involvement of Dennis Fletcher whose son Ian is now proprietor.
Ian Fletcher is a member of the General Synod of the Church of England and specialises in advising high net worth individuals, solicitors, nursing homes and not for profit organisations.
James Butler works closely with Ian and specialises in the production of financial statements, audit and tax affairs for Fletcher Greenwood’s business clients. James has extensive experience of different sectors and sizes of business and particularly enjoys working with owner managed businesses.
Today we continue to build on our enviable reputation for providing excellent advice and first class service to our business and personal clients alike. We have many clients in the local community and beyond. We service businesses and other clients, small and large, across many sectors including:
